Mark 2:23-28
Jesus states David to call himself the Lord of the sabbath if he were the son of GOD he would not have used a prophet as an example to stand his ground. Moreover he did not even say My prophet David which if he was of authority i.e the actual son of GOD he would have done so.
Mark 2:3-12
Jesus puts in an effort to clear doubts of the scribes.
The scribes were questioning is their hearts not arguing with him so there was no reason for Jesus to respond to them.
Moreover he did not say i am GOD's son and i can forgive the sins of people he said he has been given power on earth. The entire verses are figurative and other verses where Jesus calls other people as Children of GOD clearly indicate that Jesus used the term 'Son of GOD' figuratively when preaching what he preached.
Also...In verse 12 after the palsy is healed and everything is settled down the multitudes end up glorifying GOD not Jesus. Those were people of Torah who clearly knew that he was a prophet not unlike the pagan romans who took a Man's figure as divine to spread it across Europe.

Most Merciful!
When GOD calls himself MOST MERCIFUL there's also another way to perceive it contrary to the common way perceived by Muslims.
You are supposed to expect mercy from him for his fear and you cannot do that having wrong expectations or doing wrong deeds.
